New Medevac Stretcher System

Our partners at Flying Mission have been working to ready the aircraft to be better equipped. One of the problems we were facing with medevac flights was that there was no way to support a patient needing oxygen during transportation. In addition, the physical transporting of the patient was very difficult with the previous stretcher set-up. However, both of these problems have since been solved!

In order to provide oxygen to the patient in transport, we use a machine that extracts oxygen from the surrounding air in order to provide it directly to the patient. In the Cessna 206 aircraft part of the electrical system has been rewired so that the oxygen concentrator can have its own dedicated power system. There has also been a new electrical output and inverter installed in order to support the concentrator.
